【简述】

为什么研究双光子发光?因为低能量的光子穿透力强,绝对适合生物方面的应用。

碳纳米管的垃圾兄弟 - “碳点”(carbon dots)经过Sun博士的努力似乎已经进入了强荧光量子点的大家庭。这些大约10nm以下的碳颗粒不但发着强的荧光(量子产率>10%,参见文献[11]),而且能够一次吸收两个低能量光子(800nm)发光,吸收度达到~40,000GM (对比著名的CdSe/ZnS量子点的双光子吸光度~50,000GM)。水溶性的碳点能够穿透乳腺癌细胞MCF-7的细胞膜,方便地进行双光子成像。碳点进入机理大致是内吞作用(endocytosis)(类似Hongjie Dai的碳管)。另外有趣的是,这些碳点只在细胞质徘徊,完全没有进入细胞核。想像在碳点表面接上特殊的DNA,那么基因输送到细胞核肯定又是一篇JACS。哈哈。

好问题。

空气下600、700C管子就烧光了。

单壁管在真空/惰气下加热到1200C以上开始变成多壁管;多壁管大约能稳定到2800C左右(大概变成类石墨的东东);石墨的熔点在3500C左右。
